Fans of Disney's worldwide smash hit Frozen might be seeing the film's two main characters appearing on a future episode of Once Upon a Time.

Popular Princess NOT Returning For Future Episodes?

Once Upon a Time co-creators Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz spoke with E! News' Kristin Dos Santos recently about how much they love Frozen. Reportedly, the writers room on Once Upon a Time is basically a "Frozen appreciation room."

As such, the Kitsis and Horowitz are interested in bringing on the two Frozen princesses at the center of the movie, Anna, voiced by Kristen Bell, and Elsa, voiced by Idina Menzel.

"We would be completely honored if Kristen Bell or Idina Menzel wanted to do our show," Kitsis said.

With this news, Dos Santos spoke with Bell about Kitsis and Horowitz's desire to have her on the show and reprise her beloved character.

"That would be unbelievable," Bell said. "I love that character of Anna so much. She's so exactly who I wanted to see when I was five years old so she's really close to my heart."

Frozen has become the most successful animated movie of all time since its November 2013 release, having grossed over $1 billion worldwide. The film's soundtrack has been just as popular, having just marked its 10th week atop the Billboard Top 200 albums chart.

The film also won the Academy Award for Best Animated Picture in addition to Best Original Song for Let It Go

It is not confirmed that Bell or Menzel will show up to reprise either of their characters, but based on the writers' obsession with the film, Anna and Elsa will likely show up on the series at some point.

Once Upon a Time season 3 airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
