Though they're paid to party, the cast of CMT's Party Down South could potentially be taming their antics while filming their second season in Athens, Ga.

While season 1 was comprised largely of the cast getting drunk and engaging in risky and promiscuous behaviors while living in Murrells Inlet, S.C., a new video clip shows 33-year-old Ryan 'Daddy' Richards, originally of Orange Beach Alabama, committing to solving at least one side of a Rubik's cube instead of drinking and partying up a storm.

"We're gonna do green in 30 seconds," he says at the beginning of the clip, which then fast-forwards and shows him working on the cube.

After he solves the one side, he puts the cube on the counter, impressing the woman behind the camera, who asks him where he learned how to do that.

"I spent a lot of time at my grandmother's house, and all she had was a Rubik's cube," he replies.

If solving the cube is one of the things he has been doing while filming in Athens, his behavior could be a little tamer in the second season. However, the cast has still been partying while in Athens, where they haven't received the warmest of welcomes.

One bar where the cast has been welcomed is the Boar's Head Lounge, and assistant manager Trevor Whiteman told Red and Black.com April 10 that the cast did drink themselves into a stupor while at his bar.

"They get intoxicated to the point where they don't know what's going on. So they basically had people babysitting them all night, so that was pretty nice," he said. "Every girl that's on the show was carried out by a bouncer, unconscious. They were out, laying in a booth, asleep."

The premise of season 1 was eight young Southerners moving into the Murrells Inlet home to party and live together for one summer. It starred Richards, 31-year-old Josh Murray from Louise, Miss., 28-year-old Lyle Boudreaux from Lafayette, La., 26-year-old Walt Windham from Frankfort, Ky., 21-year-old Lauren White from Pineville, La., 24-year-old Mattie Breaux from Gheens, La., 23-year-old Taylor "Lil Bit" Wright from Rockingham, N.C. and 25-year-old Tiffany Heinen from Eunice, La.

Season 2 begins airing Thursday, June 5, and a special preview of the new season will air right after the CMT Music Awards on June 4.
