The conclusion of Chicago Fire season 2 is just about a month away. However, before the season wraps, the NBC hit will feature a guest appearance by one of the stars from its spinoff series, Chicago P.D.

On Wednesday, 31-year-old Chicago P.D. actress, Sophia Bush, turned to Instagram to share news about her guest-starring role on the Chicago Fire season finale. In somewhat of a cryptic post, the starlet captioned her picture of fish and oysters with the statement: "Best part of being back in #Chicago to film the #ChicagoFire finale? The food, obvi. Second only to the people, of course. #GToysterHouse..."

Likewise, Bush gushed about the upcoming crossover via her Twitter account, as well. On the season finale next month, Bush will bring her character, Erin Lindsay, onto Chicago Fire from Chicago P.D. However, as noted by CarterMatt Thursday, "This is not the first crossover that Bush has done by any means, as she has done multiple episodes of Chicago Fire dating back to the first season when her character was introduced."

Moreover, NBC described the installment as "an epic crossover event," in which "Chicago Fire teams up with Chicago P.D. in a thrilling two-night crossover."
