Mimi Faust and Nikko Smith's sex tape will officially release next week, but fans are now wondering how much the reality star couple was paid by Vivid.

According to reports, Vivid head honcho Steve Hirsh obtained the explicit video of the couple and then contacted them to sign it off to the public. He also revealed that the Love & Hip Hop producers gave him the "ok," as a plot to increase ratings for the upcoming VH1 series, which is scheduled to premiere May 5.

A source said that Vivid initially offered Mimi and Nikko $100,000 for the explicit video,  but gave them a bigger offer once they knew how much buzz it would generate from the VH1 series. The source added that Mimi will recieve a guaranteed $5 million for the film.

The tape is entitled, "Mimi & Nikko: Scandal in Atlanta," and it said to be very intense. The new video is already teased on Vivid.com with a timetable to let fans know that it wll be released next Monday.

Since news swirled earlier this week about the tape, both Mimi and Nikko have endured bad press, but the ex-girlfriend of Stevie J is not letting the negativity get the best of her. She was spotted out with Nikko at Aurum Lounge in Altlanta on Tuesday.

A source who was at the club said the stars were in their own world and didn't respond to the comments about their lewd acts on camera.

"Neither of them blinked an eye. They were all on each other and basking in the spotlight," the source added, according to HollywoodLife.com.
