One of the most outspoken former contestants on Dancing With the Stars is now speaking out about the show being scripted.

Cody Simpson Completely Blindsided by Dancing With the Stars Elimination?

Wendy Williams, who competed in season 12 of Dancing With the Stars, spoke with The Today Show Thursday and revealed just how scripted the reality show might be.

"When they put you in the room and you have to talk to the camera about your experience - you know, the one-on-one with the camera - I was letting people know that they script what you say," Williams said.

Drew Carey In Danger Of DWTS Elimination After Low-Scoring Performance?

Williams had discussed the idea of the show being scripted on her talk show, The Wendy Williams Show, on Tuesday.

"They also script what they want you to say," she revealed. "I know this as a participant, okay. I'm reading, I'm like, 'Wait, this is not how I'm feeling today, and I wouldn't say that. I'm not going to say that,' I would tell the camera."

The talk show host exposed the news after current contestant NeNe Leakes stormed out of her rehearsal in a clip package during Monday night's episode of DWTS. Williams expressed her concern that Leakes could be getting edited as a stereotypical role of the "Angry Black Woman."

Williams was eliminated during week 2 of competition in season 12, but she thinks that she would have lasted longer in the competition if she had given "a little bit more sassafras" onscreen.

"Because that's how they were writing my script, to be Angry Black Woman," Williams said. "And all I'm going to say, NeNe, don't let them pull you out of your character. ... Don't let them do that to you."

Dancing With the Stars has faced numerous rumors of rigging for the current season. There were accusations that the show had rigged the Switch Up twist and ignored audience votes, with producers picking out the new couples themselves.

Additionally, eliminated contestant Sean Avery said that he was kicked off of the show because of his conflict with the producers over anything else.

Dancing With the Stars season 18 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
