Reportedly, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge ventured to Manly Beach after spending their morning at an Easter Show in Sydney. They arrived at the sandy shore to greet and congratulate lifeguards, however in anticipation of their arrival, awaited thousands of cheering fans to greet them.

According to the Daily Mail on April 18, it was "a royally good time: the Duchess met junior lifesavers on Sydney's Manly Beach as she and Prince William were mobbed by the crowds as part of her 19-day official visit."

Moreover, in noble fashion, 32-year-old Middleton opted to not privy the crowd to a glimpse at her bikini bod. Instead, she donned a white, "broderie anglaise dress by Australian designer Zimmerman." What's more, the Royals received a "less formal gift than usual," in the form of a custom-made surfboard for their little Prince George, "though it's unclear whether it will get used."

Then, just when exclaiming "cowabunga dude!" may have been fitting for the occasion, they found themselves firing a gun, instead. "On your marks! The Duke fired a starting gun for a race down the beach on a day which also saw his Royal wife running in towering wedges in a Baywatch moment," told the report.
