Law & Order: SVU season 15 is on a bit of a hiatus. However, fans may be pleasantly surprised to learn who will make a guest-appearance on an upcoming episode of the hit NBC series.

Does BD Wong ring a bell? The 53-year-old actor is slated to reprise his role as Dr. George Huang later on this season. The actor is reportedly returning as the psychologist whose technique is solicited for the mental evaluation of a suspect who is accused of attempting to kidnap and rape a child. However, when his findings are not particularly conducive towards the interests of the prosecutors seeking to imprison the suspect, a rift is caused in the courtroom.

As told by The Huffington Post Thursday, Dr. Huang is nevertheless "the most underrated/everyone's true favorite Law & Order: SVU character." Additionally, they asserted, "it must be a pretty serious episode if they're bringing Huang back to New York all the way from Oklahoma City," as it is "the season's penultimate episode."

Moreover, after Olivia Benson's nightmarish stalker shot himself in the head right before her eyes, and plus the fact that she is in hot water for committing perjury, she may need "a friend" now more than ever before. "If anything, we hope Huang will provide some support for Benson, who could really use a shoulder to cry on after the last episode. He'd be a way better therapist than her current guy anyway," told the report. What's more, recently SVU showrunner Warren Leight stated, "It would be great for her character to have a kid in her life... The notion that Olivia can never be happy is probably due for a slight makeover... maybe she's ready to change a diaper."
