Miriam Weeks, the Duke University student and porn star who goes by "Belle Knox," has reportedly revealed how she chose her stage name and who were the inspirations for it.

Miriam Weeks Reveals Who Outed Her?

Weeks was recently outed at her school for doing porn and according to Starcasm on April 11, the X-rated actress said that the inspiration for her name came from dark hard-core singer Marilyn Manson. Since Manson supposedly chose his stage name from taking something innocent with something evil (Marilyn Monroe and Charles Manson), Weeks did the same thing as Belle Knox, taking Belle from Beauty and the Beast with Amanda Knox who was involved in a murder case of her roommate in Italy.

When Weeks made an appearance on the Opie & Anthony Show, she expressed her thoughts on the Knox case, saying that the accused murderer was not innocent although there could be more to the story.

"Amanda Knox, that whole case, just really really fascinates me, and I don't think she's innocent, I think there's something else totally going on," Weeks said. "In my personal behavior, I think that her behavior after, the day after when she was doing cartwheels, I think she should have just admitted from the get-go that she was probably high as f--- when all of that was happening."

The porn actress revealed some more insight on Amanda Knox, saying that she resents the media for shaming her as promiscuous. Weeks also said that received criticism for using her name, but she likes it.

According to the site, Weeks was allegedly barred from a Disneyland photo-shoot for using "Belle" as her first stage name.
