Falling Skies' baby Lexi will no longer be a child when the show returns this summer, and the alien/human hybrid will find herself in the thick of the action.

After being held by Karen (Jessy Schram) and the Esphini for most of the season, Lexi and Anne (Moon Bloodgood) rejoined the 2nd Mass in the final minutes of season 3. However, Tom's (Noah Wyle) youngest child immediately began to show signs of her unearthly nature. Not only had she managed to age six years in only two months, but Lexi was also able to easily remove the eyebugs from Lourdes (Seychelle Gabriel).

Lexi will make a brief appearance as her six-year-old self during the season 4 premiere ("Ghost in the Machine"), but she will quickly accelerate through her teen years (lucky kid) and soon appear as a 20-year-old woman, according to Collider.

Now played by a pale and blond Scarlett Byrne, the grownup Lexi will find herself separated with only Lourdes to rely on.

"We're friends, yeah," Gabriel told Collider. "You know, we get separated in the beginning of this season and I end up with [Lexi]. And I think Lourdes feels a sense of protecting her because she birthed her. Both of them are coming into this new individuality together, on their own little journey."

Anne, however, will want Lexi back from the journey as soon as possible.

"[Anne is] usually so level-headed and this time she's a woman who you don't want to mess with because this is her baby," Bloodgood informed Collider. "Her daughter has been separated from her and she's going to find her way back to her."
