The third season of Netflix's wildly popular political drama, House of Cards (HoC), is expected to release on the streaming service in early 2015. Though Kate Mara's character Zoe Barnes was shoved off by Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) last season, she dished about filming provocative scenes with Spacey.

Additionally, show creator Beau Willimon hinted at what fans can expect to see on Season 3.

The mastermind behind House of Cards, 39-year-old Willimon, previously said that he and his team of writers are currently in the process of scripting Season 3, and even have a couple of episodes completed already. Earlier in April, he told the Examiner that scripting the series "is more than a full time job in-and-of itself."

He acknowledged, "I don't talk about [the] story at all for the upcoming season. But I will say, I miss Zoe as much as you do! Kate Mara is an extraordinary actress. The work she did on "House of Cards" is a big part of its success." What's more, in light of recent talks about Mara returning in Season 3 as a ghost, she revealed that she had already known that her character wouldn't live past Season 2, when she'd signed on for the role.

Claire Underwood To Become Lead Villain In 'House of Cards' Season 3?

On April 19, the 31-year-old actress dished to Playboy about having enjoyed her experience on the show and the tactics she used for keeping sex scenes with Kevin Spacey from feeling awkward. "From day two of working with Kevin, I found him just as playful as I am. He would definitely up my game. I tried to get him to laugh by wearing pasties with his face on them. Of course, because Kevin wants to win whatever the game is and because he always wins, he did not laugh. He waited until the director said 'Cut' and then he laughed. Kevin has an amazing sense of humor, but he's also a great professional and he's really f---ing good at it," shared Mara.
