Though the cast of Discovery's Amish Mafia halted filming of the show's third season and has reportedly refused to continue with the series, two of the stars have recently confirmed that they are open to discussing things with the network.

Esther Schmucker Not Returning For Season 4?

At a meet and greet with fans in Lancaster County April 19, show stars and siblings Esther and John Schmucker admitted to being open to filming again, though neither one has yet signed on to a fourth season with Discovery.

"We're going to negotiate," Esther said to Lancaster Online. "There are certain things that have aired that we haven't been happy with. If we can come to an agreement and meet in the middle, then maybe we'll agree to shoot a fourth season."

'Amish Mafia' Should Be Taken Off The Air?

The show's season 3 finale, which aired April 8 on the network, showed the Schmuckers, Jolin Zimmerman, Lebanon Levi Stoltzfus and other cast members refusing to appear on camera any longer and blaming the producers and English in general for problems that have plagued them, including Esther's real-life beating by Imir Williams, and Levi being followed by a private investigator.

On her official Facebook page however, Esther claims things have been blown out of proportion, and that the cast doesn't blame the English for everything, nor do they hate them, and that the reasons for halting filming all stem from how producers have promoted and aired the series.

"How could I possibly hate non Amish people when I like to let my hair down and dress like them sometimes!? I am able to do it because I haven't got baptized into the amish church yet," she wrote April 16. "If I would be baptized I would 100% get shunned for not following the Ordung (rules) (Alvin and Big Steve are the only two that are baptized) God bless and keep smiling. Xoxo. P.S. I am positive whether amish or non amish 90% of ppl live a double life whether they admit it or not."

The show halted production in February.
