The 2nd Mass may have just struck a crushing blow against the Espheni, but season 4 will kick off with some devastating problems for the resistance fighters.

Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) and his motley band of humans won a decisive victory over their alien aggressors during "Brazil," but the small army won't make it back to Charleston without incident. As soon as the premiere begins, the core characters will find themselves scattered in several different directions.

"In the beginning of the season, we're about to approach Charleston and, all of a sudden, we get separated," explained Moon Bloodgood (Anne), according to Collider. "We get ambushed, and you that see Noah [Wyle] and Will [Patton] are somewhere. I am now on the road. I am looking for my daughter, [Lexi]."

Patton, who plays Weaver, and Wyle won't be the only ones missing. While the good doctor searches for her missing child, Matt (Maxim Knight) will find himself in some strange sort of reform school while his brothers try to relocate each other.

Lexi (Scarlett Byrne), meanwhile, will be hanging with the recently de-bugged Lourdes (Seychelle Gabriel) until the 2nd Mass starts to reform later in the season.
