Penny (Kaley Cuoco) is set to take a big step with Leonard (Johnny Galecki) on an upcoming episode of The Big Bang Theory.

Episode 23 (the penultimate episode) of season 7 is titled The Gorilla Dissolution and focuses on Penny and her life choices. CBS has released a new plot synopsis for the episode, set to air May 8, and it looks to be a big Penny episode. After a bad day at work, Penny will be "reevaluating" her life choices, particularly with Leonard.

This is likely related to the recent spoiler that Penny and Leonard might be proposing marriage to each other yet again. Enstars previously reported that the season 7 finale will feature Penny and Leonard "broaching the subject" of marriage again, per a new report by TV Guide. The report suggests that either Penny or Leonard could be proposing to the other, and based on the episode 23 synopsis, it seems like it could be Penny proposing to Leonard.

Also on deck for The Gorilla Dissolution, Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) will struggle in taking care of Mrs. Wolowitz (Carol Ann Susi). Meanwhile, Raj (Kunal Nayyar) will be getting relationship advice from Sheldon (Jim Parsons).

In addition to Susi, guest stars for this episode include Will Wheaton as himself, Laura Spencer as Emily, Steve Valentine as Kenneth, Beau Casper Smart as Travis and Kalika Kauahi as Marta.

The Big Bang Theory season 7 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
