Beyoncé Knowles tops Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People In the World for 2014, as Kerry Washington, Pharrell Williams, Hilary Clinton, Seth Meyers, Miley Cyrus, Carrie Underwood, and more appear on the international list.

Will Beyoncé and Jay Z Really Go On Tour?

It has been an amazing year for Beyoncé, who dropped a secret record-breaking album, has been more outspoken on gender equality issues, and became a fearless mother, in the past two years. The power and influence that she has acquired since her time in Destiny's Child goes above and beyond what most dream about. To solidify her place in history, Time acknowledged her power moves and slow world-domination by placing her atop the 2014 Time 100.

In a recently released clip of the cover shoot, the mother of 2-year-old Blue Ivy expressed the importance of this title in particular. "Shooting for Time Magazine was definitely one of the goals in my life," she said.

She added, "It's definitely important for me as an artist because it's not about fashion, or beauty, or music... It's about the influence I've had on culture. To be amongst the other influential people is a huge honor for me."

The first openly gay professional athlete Jason Collins, Super Bowl-winning Seahawks NFL star Richard Sherman, as well as pro-tennis champion Serena Williams were placed on the list as three of the most influential figures in sports.

Oscar-winning director of 12 Years a Slave, Steve McQueen, American Hustle's Amy Adams, and Scandal's Kerry Washington also made the list for their influence among the world of the cinematic arts.
