The Big Bang Theory showrunner Steve Molaro spoke with The Hollywood Reporter in a Wednesday report about what's ahead for the CBS sitcom. He noted that the last three episodes of the season will feature discussion of proposals.

"Within all the characters, there will be at least one more proposal and there is also some discussion of potential living arrangements, but I'm going to be vague about the rest," Molaro teased.

Sheldon Cooper Has Significant Encounter With Psychic?

Enstars previously reported that Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) would be potentially proposing marriage to each other before the end of season 7, so it seems like the on again-off again couple might be cementing their relationship for real this time.

"It does end on something of a cliffhanger," Molaro continued. "The last three episodes, a lot of big moves happen. The final three episodes aren't necessarily building to a crescendo in the finale but there are big moves happening all over the place, including the finale. I'm pretty excited about it."

Molaro also revealed that season 10 might be the end of the sitcom, saying he was going to "move forward along with [co-creator] Chuck [Lorre] that 10 is the end unless we're told otherwise."

CBS recently renewed The Big Bang Theory for three seasons, putting its ultimate total to 10.

"My concern is that we do it right and we end this show in a way that is as befitting of these characters that we respect and love," he said.

The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
