BET Network's most powerful execs and its most-talked about celebrities gathered in the Ziegfeld Theater for their 2014 Upfronts Wednesday night in New York City. Of course, the Enstars Exclusives team was on the scene.

REWIND: Get all the Deets on the Season 7 Premiere of "The Game"!

Besides the powerful BET execs and advertising powers that were mingling and catching up with the large crowd, the faces of the most popular shows on BET presented "awards" for the record-breaking programming within the past year.

Rap legend MC Lyte appropriately lent her distinct voice to MC the entire evening. Real Husbands of Hollywood star Boris Kodjoe hosted the fun-filled event, as The Game's entire cast (sans Lauren London) presented during various times of the evening. They also announced that their hit show would be returning for an 8th season, as Brittney Daniel, who plays Kelly, confirmed that things would be just as crazy in the new episodes.

Will Tia Mowry Return to "The Game"?

Bow Wow and Keisha Chanté also gushed about the return of 106 & Park, as Gabrielle Union confessed that she escaped filming the new season of Being Mary Jane to attend tonight's exclusive showing. She also added a heartfelt thank you to the network and those that supported the first show of its kind, and emphasized why BET is such an important place for actors and actresses of color.

"We like to throw away talent," she said. "In our community we don't believe in that... Family sticks together. It's about supporting each other and keeping that talent."

She continued, "The BET brand works because we are a family... Thank you for supporting a brand that believes in family and togetherness, and support."

Below, she posted her white and blue ensemble for the evening on Instagram.

The CEO of the network, Debra Lee, responded with gratitude for Union's moving speech, just before she announced the new vision of BET's sister network, Centric. Now, in partnership with Queen Latifah and her production company Flavor Unit, the network will be the first one ever designed for black women. Earlier this month, reports surfaced that VH1's recently cancelled show Single Ladies will return on Centric. There will be a host of new programming gears towards grown women of color in the coming year.

Then, the gorgeous Keke Palmer took the stage to reveal how excited she was about her new show, The Keke Palmer Project. The 20-year-old is making history as the youngest talk show host to ever host a television series.

The other new show gaining considerable buzz, stars Rev Run's son and rapper, Diggy Simmons, in a scripted series called The Start Up. He, alongside singer and model Teyana Taylor, and Eddie Murphy's daughter Bria Murphy, will play the lead characters. The story follows the life of Simmon's character Blake, as he navigates the entertainment industry in the beginning stages of his company.

There are also plans to start a new reality series called Gone Gospel, in which once-superstar celebrities who have lost their way will live in a house together, and take on challenges to complete their first gospel project. The show will be hosted by gospel's own Kirk Franklin, and according to the promo that was aired last night, Lauryn Hill, Fantasia Burrino and DMX are all said to be on the show, however no contracts have been signed. Also, Joyce Meyers, Bishop TD Jakes and Dr. Robin Smith will allegedly be on hand to mentor.

Also, director/dancer/actress extraordinaire, Debbie Allen, will have her original play, The Hot Chocolate Nutcracker, which will air on BET this holiday season. Both Raven Symone and Tichina Arnold will act in the Debbie Allen Dance Academy production.

With the new shows and the returning programming that broke records all year long, it looks like BET will take its place in the Top 20 Cable Networks in the world, once again.
