The Japanese trailer for Transformers 4: Age of Extinction has been released with an alternate title and a special introduction by Mark Wahlberg for fans on that side of the world.

The other title that's being used for Japanese audiences is Transformers: Lost Age.

"Go check out my latest film Transformers: Lost Age, it has tons of action, new characters and its full of effects that you've never seen before, it opens in Japan in August, don't miss it," Wahlberg says in the intro. The trailer that follows is the same as the international one, albeit this one comes with Japanese subtitles.

The clip starts with an beat-up truck being hauled to Cade Yaeger's (Mark Wahlberg) farm, with his daughter (Nicola Peltz) complaining about it being a superfluous purchase. As Cade gets to work on the truck, he realizes that it isn't just a normanl truck, but a transformer, none other than Optimus Prime. Cut to a bunch of sophisticated goons led by Titus Welliver come looking for Optimus Prime. The truck transforms, and out rolls Prime completely throwing off Welliver's crew.

The trailer also offers a first proper look at the main villain, Harold Attinger (Kelsey Grammer). "A new era has begun, the age of the Transformers is over," Grammer is seen saying.

As the clip progresses fans get to see "alien bounty hunters" looking to abduct Cade's daughter.

Finally, toward the end of the video, a dinobot is seen aggressively charging toward Optimus Prime. The mega machine takes the mammothian-metallic beast down with one fell swoop of his blade.

Transformers: Age of Extinction comes out June 27, 2014.
