It was recently revealed that Paul Walker's brothers, Caleb and Cody, had "mixed feelings" about filling in for him in Fast and Furious 7.

In an interview with Radar Online on April 22, Caleb and Cody's sister Ashlie, spoke about how the duo initially struggled with the idea of taking his part in the film to help finish it.

"They have mixed feelings," their sister said. "It's emotional. And it's been hard to step into Paul's shoes and make a huge career move. They've been working with coaches on their scripts. They want to honour him and do the very best they can."

She also clarified that, 36-year-old Caleb, who is a restaurant owner, and 25-year-old Cody, who is a paramedic, have no intentions of pursuing an acting career in Hollywood.

"They're not actors. This is just temporary," she said. "They just want to help complete the film because so many people were so invested. Paul was invested. Both have things about them that are so similar to Paul, even the way they walk. It was a natural decision."

The film's Facebook page made the announcement the official on April 15 stating that Walker's younger brothers would be filling in to help finish Walker's character, Brian O'Connor's story in the film:

"We came together and all felt the only choice was to continue," the statement reads. "We believe our fans want that, and we believe Paul would want that too. Paul had already shot his dramatic scenes and most of his action for FAST & FURIOUS 7, and it's among the strongest work of his career."

Walker is the oldest of five siblings.

Walker died on Nov. 30 in a car crash in Santa Clarita, Calif. He was the passenger in a car being driven by his friend, race car driver Roger Rodas, who also died in the accident. The speeding car hit a tree and instantly burst into flames, causing both the actor and Rodas to die on the spot. The actor was headed home after attending a charity event for his foundation, Reach Out Worldwide.

Walker is survived by his 15-year-old daughter, Meadow.
