It may not be easy being former Real Housewife of New York, Bethenny Frankel, 43, but it sure is sweet to be her ex-husband's lawyer. Courts recently ordered Frankel to dish out $100,000 immediately in legal fees for her bitter ongoing divorce.

Why Did Bethenny Frankel Quit RHONY?

The money will be deducted from the final settlement Frankel reaches with ex-husband, pharmaceutical executive Jason Hoppy, 42, Thursday's RadarOnline reports. The unhappy couple split in 2012, and Frankel filed for divorce the following January 2013. (Although Frankel let him still live with her in their Tribeca apartment for the sake of their child). It has already dragged on for more than a year.

Not that Frankel can't afford it. Forbes estimates Frankel's net worth to be about 12 million (in 2012), pulling in cheddar from a combination of her RHONY salary, Skinnygirl Cocktails franchise, and most likely, her short-lived show, Bethenny.

Said an insider, "Jason would like to get the divorce and custody settled, once and for all, but Bethenny is making it impossible."

Despite the messy custody battle, Bethenny took a leisurely stroll with her 3-year-old daughter Byrne as reported on Friday's Daily Mail.
