All fans knew that hazing was a part of the catty culture on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Orange County, nothing new there. But newbie housewife Lizzie Rovsek really didn't see it coming when she first joined. "I had to defend myself from the first meeting," she said.

Holding court against Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, and Heather Dubrow is no easy feat. But Rovsek, a 33-year-old gorgeous former model, has her thoughts on whether the vets are just a tad "insecure" around her, even though typically she's "not very confrontational with other women," reported Radar Online on April 23.

Rovsek experienced hazing from day one. "I would say the toughest part was just kind of the hazing you get from the veterans. I really didn't expect the hazing. I didn't really expect to be picked on like I did in the beginning. I found myself standing up for myself in the beginning right off the bat. I had to defend myself just from like the first meeting."

When asked whether it's because she poses a sexy young threat to the vets, and that they might be insecure, Lizzie responded:

"I don't know. Maybe... I don't pick on people by the way they look or by their names, just very catty stuff like that. I was just really caught off guard that that those were the things I was picked on about. It wasn't typical for me."

Even though Rovsek, who prides herself on her character and integrity, said she's not one to "start drama," she is "very quick to defend" herself.

"I don't know what I can say....you can wait and see. It's pretty much right off the bat."

She went on to say that meeting Vicki was a "roller coaster. It was like good, and then crazy and then I found her very hard to read. I consider her a roller coaster. It was great, bad, all the above."

Sounds "Pretty Ugly" like RHOC's new episode airing May 5, 2014. Tune in for more cat fights! (And meet other new housewife Shannon Beador!)
