The Wonder Years actress Danica McKellar told her Twitter followers Friday that she had suffered a broken rib during rehearsal for Monday night's show.

"So...I broke a rib in yesterday's #DWTS rehearsal," she tweeted. "Trying my best to pull thru and could use your prayers!! #wanttokeepdancing."

Despite her injury, McKellar may actually be pushing through the pain as she hopes to continue with the competition.

"Had rehearsal today.. it's tough dancing with a broken rib. "@iamvalc choreographed an amazing routine- fingers crossed I can pull it off! :/," she tweeted later in the day.

McKellar and her pro dancing partner Val Chmerkovskiy have been one of the more consistent couples this season, receiving a score of at least "8" from all the judges since Week 1. She even came close to a perfect score during Disney Week, scoring 39 out of 40 for her Beauty and the Beast-themed Quickstep.

Neither Dancing With the Stars nor ABC representatives have officially commented on McKellar's injury and whether or not it would impact her status in the competition. Star Wars actor Billy Dee Williams had to pull out of the competition earlier in the season due to a back injury.

She is one of two former child stars in the competition, alongside Candace Cameron Bure (Full House).

Dancing With the Stars season 18 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
