The preview of episode 20, titled The Deep Web, of the second season of The Good Wife was revealed online on April 27.
Alicia's "Fun Chemistry" With Finn Polmar to Lead to an Affair?
It seems like Alicia (Julianna Margulies) might have something to fill up part of the gaping void that Will's death left in her. The star of CBS' legal drama might be getting a new man in her life as Enstars already reported before. But fans finally get to see the chemistry of the duo sizzle on screen, as in the preview of The Deep Web Alicia playfully flirts with Daniel Irwin, played by Lestor Carbonell (Lost).
Alicia is seen having a blast with Daniel over lunch and humor seems to be key to this relationship. "I'm glad you came along, Alicia," Daniel tells her. He also insists he pick up the tab for their drinks. And Alicia is seen going for a quick break to the rest room to calm her nerves. She behaves like a teenager out on a date as she looks into the mirror, hyperventilating, and says, "God, I am so stupid."
On April 21 the network stated that Carbonell will guest star as Daniel, "a charming entrepreneur who catches Alicia's eye" in the episode scheduled to air on May 4. While there is no confirmation if Carbonell will be taken on for a multi-episode arc or if he will only appear this once, Alicia's is interested in pursuing him, even if only for a one-nigt stand.
Kalinda Next in Line to Leave Show After Will?
She will meet Daniel during jury duty and sparks will fly. It is being suggested that Alicia will turn to her more free-spirited mother, Veronica (Stockard Channing) for advice.
The Deep Web will air on CBS at 9 p.m. on May 4.
