Robin Roberts' new book, Everybody's Got Something, is a testament to the daily struggles individuals have in their own lives, and this time around, her promo tour has her meeting her fans in various cities to inspire them to keep going, no matter what.

This Thursday, May 1, that tour will make a stop at 92Y in New York City for "Robin Roberts, In Conversation With George Stephanopoulos." The co-anchors of Good Morning America will have an in-depth conversation about Roberts' incredible journey. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. For more information on the event you can visit the 92Y website.

Since 2005, audiences across the nation have woken up with Robin Roberts and the rest of the Good Morning America team, as they report on hot-button issues, international world news, while balancing it out with heart-warming stories. However, because of Roberts' public fights with breast cancer and a rare blood disorder, there have been times when she could not join her team. Still, fans and devout GMA audiences sent prayers and positive wishes her way.

Now, the 53-year-old is back and better than she was before. While she was undergoing treatment, she penned her new book Everybody's Got Something, titled after a phrase her mother would often say to remind her children that they are not the only ones with problems.

Roberts' inspirational fight with her rare blood disorder, MDS, caused her to want to give up at times. However, in a new interview with ETonline, she revealed, "There has not been one single day where someone comes up to me and says, 'I've prayed for you.' Not one day."

She continued, "My shoulders almost go down when people say you're so courageous, because they gave me the strength to want to fight."

Since the release of her book last week, Roberts has been on an extensive media tour to promote it. In between various in store signings and appearances on Jimmy Kimmel, David Letterman, and even judging contestants on Dancing With The Stars,  she has made herself readily available to the audiences that know and love her.

Her new book, in-stores now, is a candid reflection of her life so far, including her battle with MDS, her family and her relationship with her girlfriend, Amber Laign. Roberts will be signing copies of the book following the event at 92Y.
