For all of the fans that are still crossing their fingers for a Mad Men spinoff, Jay R. Ferguson gives an idea of what a Stan Rizzo show would look like.

Don Draper Contacts 'An Old Friend' in Upcoming Episode?

Mad Men is currently in its seventh and final season and while it's been confirmed that there will not be a Mad Men spinoff (for now) when the show comes to an end, Ferguson opened up to The Hollywood Reporter about his perception of a spinoff for his character Stan Rizzo.

He told the site in an article published Sunday, "I'd love to lie to you and tell you I haven't thought about that. I think it would probably be him off being a fashion photographer in Paris, dealing with the birth of the supermodel and slithering his way through that whole scene," he said of Rizzo.

Season 7 Beginning of the End For Don Draper?

Ferguson also opened up about Rizzo's friendship with Peggy and how it will change this season. While viewers are hoping that their colleague relationship could turn into something more, he hinted that it remains platonic and he stays in the friend zone.

"The perception after the first couple of episodes is that it's somehow taken a different direction. But for me, especially in the last episode, you have that look that they shared in the elevator the first time they see each other in the morning. It's a very pleasant exchange. I think it's only when she's having a moment that he's that guy she can always let off a little steam on and he won't take it personally."
