Zoe Saldana, Marco Perego: Married Couple Makes First Public Appearance Since June Wedding [PHOTO] [VIDEO]
Zoe Saldana and her husband, Marco Perego, made their first public appearance as a couple on Tuesday.

The low-key couple attended the 2014 AOL NewFronts event at Duggal Greenhouse in New York City and held each other as they posed for a photo. The 35-year-old actress wore a Roksanda Ilincic dress paired with Christian Louboutin shoes and jewelry by EF Collection and Melinda Maria. Her long-haired beau sported a suit.
Saldana and Perego got married last June in England in front of a few close friends and relatives. "I'm not a private person, but I am discreet, so it felt right," she told Net-a-Porter of her secret nuptials.

The Star Trek Into Darkness actress was reportedly head over heels from the moment the two were first linked last May. "Zoe is super-happy right now," a source told E! News that month. "She's in a really happy place."
So who is the man making Saldana's like complete? Perego was born in Italy and moved to New York City in 2002 to pursue his dream as an artist after he abandoned his soccer career.
"I was living Spanish Harlem without money and I was living on 104 Street," Perego told The New York Observer in 2007. In order to make rent he worked several jobs, including waiting tables and teaching soccer before he found success in the art world.
He also told the publication, "And always, I think, in my life, like Oscar Wilde would say: 'We all from the same gutter, but some of us look at the stars.'"
