The sequel to Magic Mike may find itself a new buff male stripper played by the handsome Zac Efron.

Magic Mike Sequel To Lose An Important Character?

On Wednesday, Glamour posted an interview with the Neighbors actor who revealed if he would be willing to play a part in Magic Mike XXL. The actor said that he would probably do it if Channing Tatum asked him.

"If he asked? I think so...yeah," Efron said. "The first one was really good. Channing is super talented...I don't know, I'll talk to Channing, it's up to him, man."

Matt Bomer To Reprise His Role As Ken?

Efron is no stranger when it comes to publicly removing his shirt, especially since his recent win at the MTV Movie Awards for Best Shirtless Performance when actress Rita Ora took ripped his shirt open on the stage. The actor dished on that situation, revealing how awkward it was.

"It was embarrassing, for sure. I don't know...it's a hard award to accept," he said. "I was grateful that she [Rita] stepped in and did the heavy lifting for me. I don't think you can take your shirt off at an awards show and come across in any way redeemable. She got me out of a tough spot...it was embarrassing."

The actor also revealed to E! News that he wouldn't necessarily object to doing a full frontal scene ever since he exposed some of himself in the film That Awkward Moment.

"Full frontal? I don't know, man," Efron said. "This movie makes me concerned because they could probably get me to do anything if they ask. Who knows? I'm not going to say yes or no yet."

Magic Mike XXL is expected to hit theaters on July 3, 2015.
