Most audiences came to know Drew Sidora during her break out role as T-Boz in VH1's Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story, but the multi-talented performer and actress has been in the industry for more than a decade. And from the looks of things, she is only getting started.

The 28-year-old mother and entertainer is working on new music, more movies and even a TV show, all the while remaining loyal to her fans and family. Enstars caught up with the young starlet to talk balance, longevity, advice and her newfound perspective of the importance of reality television.

Before she was able to step into the epic shoes of T-Boz (literally), Drew Sidora wanted to walk in the shoes of her older sister Allison. In Drew's younger years, she recalled her sister-turned-manager moving to Los Angeles from their hometown of Chicago, to work for shows like Martin, Roc, Amen, and more. At the age of 9, she got her first job and has been working—for the most part—ever since.

"While I was at home, I would always love to entertain," Sidora told Enstars. "I would jump on a piano if there was one around... So, when my sister would come home, she would tell my mom, 'Since Drew is really trying to do this, this is the way you have to do it.' "

Soon after, she booked her first job in the Fox movie Divas with Nicole Ari Parker, and immediately knew "that this is what she wanted to pursue."

From then on, she performed for anyone who was willing to watch. At the age of 13, she and a few friends formed a girl group that opened for R&B stars like R.Kelly and Avant. Years later, she has worked with everyone from Mara Brock Akil on The Game, Keenan Ivory Wayans on White Chicks, and of course, the highest selling girl group of all time, TLC (She still keeps in touch with Keke Palmer, Chili, T-Boz, and Lil' Mama, who can apparently "throw down" in the kitchen).

Though it seems that the One Love actress is always working, she stressed that balance is what keeps her sane.

"Some people feel that they have to go from set to set, but I am really thankful, when I look back at my career, that I have been able to consistently work and have my time," she told Enstars. "I take the time to really focus on one thing and one opportunity, and once I've worked a lot, I feel good about taking a little vacay and taking a little time off… I appreciate both sides."

With the recent domination of reality television on all of the major networks, many actors and actresses have admitted that it is the bane of their existence because it takes away from their onscreen opportunities. However, Drew believes that there is a new era of scripted work that is making its way out, all thanks to the very thing many can't stand to watch.

"What I've learned from sitting down with a lot of different television execs is that reality TV is what funds a lot of the television shows that we see today," she said. "Networks have figured out a way to develop shows at a low cost and to make a lot of money back... It's out there for us, it is just up to us to support it. I think we are coming into a new era where we can hope for better programming."

With more than 20 roles and counting, Sidora has been afforded the chance to work with various legends in the realm of entertainment. After long talks and even longer days on set, she has picked up a few gems of "The Biz" along the way. But, one piece of advice hit a chord with her, and she changed her entire outlook on what it really meant to pursue her dreams.

"Keenan gave a lot of advice, but one thing that he said is that the way his family became successful, is that they just had an 'A-plan,'" she revealed. "You have to put all of your energy in the thing you believe in most, which is your 'A-Plan'... Just know that it is going to take a lot of time and a lot of effort, but anything great in life comes form hard work."

By following his advice, Drew has been able to put her stamp on various roles, including her newest venture as the Tanisha in the film adaptation of Carl Weber's The Preacher's Son. With new music on the way, One Love airing every Tuesday on BounceTV, plus more film projects in the works, "Plan-A" is surely working out for the Chicago girl with big dreams... and even bigger talent.
