Dancing With the Stars pro Derek Hough has some choice words for recent guest judge Abby Lee Miller.

Abby Lee Miller SLAMS Maks Chmerkovskiy As 'Disrespectful?'

Miller, who is known to most for her tough-as-nails coaching style on Dance Moms, guest judged on Dancing With the Stars on Monday, and she didn't hold back. She criticized Meryl Davis' footwork during the Olympic ice dancer's dance with Maks Chmerkovskiy, to which the pro said he didn't care for anything she had to say.

While Miller was much more positive about Hough's dance with his celebrity partner Amy Purdy, the famous pro isn't a fan of Miller's coaching style.

"I was fortunate to be brought up with mentors and teachers with constant encouragement, love and passion," Hough wrote in his TVGuide.com blog. "It in turn created my love of dance to this day. Don't get me wrong - I've worked super hard and was super disciplined, but I was always surrounded by love and encouragement."

He went on to explain that kids are pressured into thinking dance is the most important thing in the world and that many will "burn out" by the time they hit their late teens. He noted that there is a way of getting across to the kids without being "petty, rude and spiteful," which could be considered a knock on Miller's coaching style.

"I guarantee you, if they're surrounded by negative, harsh people, at a certain point, they'll quit." he wrote. "I want them to have longevity. You can go across the board in anything in life, not just dance, and this would be true. I want kids to know that if they feel that stress and anxiety, they don't have to settle for that person. Nothing good can come from screaming at kids and putting all this pressure on them."

Dancing With the Stars season 18 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
