Sutter released another video in his YouTube blog WTF Sutter, revealing that casting for various roles is set to begin "pretty soon" for the premiere episode. The first episode of season 7 will be directed by famed TV director Paris Barclay, who has also directed the premieres of seasons 4, 5 and 6.

The script for episode 2 is finished and Sutter and his writers are working on episode 3 currently. Meanwhile, drafts for episode 4 and 5 are being written.

In other Sons of Anarchy news, Sutter, Charles Murray and Mike Daniels appeared on an episode of The Writers' Room recently where they discussed the process of ending the series.

"It's nice to know you're satisfying those fans and closing that book and you know there's no better satisfaction than finishing a great book you love and it's nice to be one of the people writing the last chapter with everybody else in that room," Daniels said.

"For us, as writers, one of the things you give up as doughnut makers, you know how the doughnuts are made," Murray added. "It's like the excitement of being that person and I still think there's a lot in the room where we look forward to being able to say 'I don't know' and then having to figure it out."

Sons of Anarchy season 7 premieres in fall 2014 on FX, though the network has not yet scheduled a specific air date.
