Scandal showrunner Shonda Rhimes has debunked the rumor that troubled star Columbus Short (aka Harrison) was being replaced. "Harrison is not being recast EVER," she wrote on Twitter. Now that that's confirmed, and the show's been renewed by ABC, possible filming locations have also been leaked! What could be more fitting than Washington D.C.?

ABC's Scandal Renewed For Season 4!

Scandal is predominantly filmed in Los Angeles, despite the quick camera shutters of epic D.C. monuments. According to BreatheCast on May 11, several scenes are rumored to be filmed in our nation's capital. It has been reported that Washington Council Member Vincent Orange is closing a deal with Scandal execs to get filming done in D.C. in August. The initiative does depend on the state's film tax incentive program.

While Gladiators await the return of their knight in shining armor, Olivia Pope, other rumors have circulated that actor Eric West would be replacing Columbus Short as Harrison. Rhimes shut that down immediately:

Columbus Short Being Replaced on Scandal? Rumors Cleared Up

"I've never heard of Eric West," Rhimes tweeted. "Harrison is not being recast EVER. How about reporters CHECK THEIR SOURCES before running with a story?" Later, she tweeted, "Um, @Deadline? Handle yourself."

Eric West also tweeted that it was "news to me."

The miscommunication was immediately deleted.

Even though Short will be missed, Gladiators look forward to an exciting 4th season premiering this fall on ABC!
