Once again Jennifer Aniston is in the middle of a hair obsession. Fans of the actress all remember how 'The Rachel' sent women all across the country in a frenzy to salons to mimic the actress. Since then Aniston has kept it sleek, sexy and often very blonde. Well now America's best Friend is switching back to her roots with a dark brown bob that looks a little like 'The Rachel' (at least in color).

"I feel great. I feel lighter. It's simple, it's really simple, that's for sure. But I'm always one of those girls who does a big old chop just to get it really healthy, to repair all the [damage from] hair coloring and stuff like that," she said in People on May 10.

The 46-year-old has her hair center-parted, chestnut brown, and slightly curled under her chin. While it may not be 'The Rachel,' this silky bob is sending just as many shockwaves through the digital-sphere. At the Living Proof Style Lab in Boston, a hair product store she is part owner of, she chuckled about how people make assumptions about how perfect her hair is:

"The thing that makes me chuckle is when I hear that my hair is so this, or so that," she said. "My hair is always at odds with a brush and a hair dryer. To get my hair straight can be a struggle," she told The Boston Globe on May 10.

Still, Aniston's got MIT scientists to keep her follicles in order. Living Proof sells hair products developed by these scientists. It also includes a hair lab, where people seeking to improve their tresses can get help from specialists in the field. It's a small, innovative business.

"Jennifer embodies everything we stand for - a unique combination of beauty and brains," Living Proof CEO Jill Beraud said before about the actress.

As for the lab being located in Boston, Aniston doesn't rule out the possibility of building a life there:

"Get a nice little Boston life going?" Aniston said. "It's such a great little city. I wouldn't rule that out."
