Some news for Star Wars: Episode VII has reportedly been released, including a surprise in Adam Driver's character as well as what the film's plot will be.

Concept Art Will Be 'Amazing?'

On Sunday, Jedi News reported that Adam Driver will likely 'not' play the villain despite rumors that he would. It turns out that he might play the offspring of Han Solo and Princess Leia and the film will involve the three of them on an adventurous quest.

"He will be playing the son of Han and Leia, and it seems he will be seduced to the Dark Side, and a main plot point for the movie will be their attempt to rescue him," the site said.

Harrison Ford Is 'Not' Excited To Play Han Solo?

The site also made it clear that this was only a rumor and not a spoiler.

Driver will be joining Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill who are set to reprise their original roles. He will also be joining other actors, including Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Oscar Isaac, Max Von Sydow and John Boyega.

"We are excited to finally share the cast of 'Star Wars: Episode VII,'" director J.J. Abrams said when he announced the casting news. "It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again. We start shooting in a couple weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud."

Star Wars: Episode VII is expected to hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
