As season 9 of Criminal Minds comes to a close, A.J. Cook, who plays Jenniffer "JJ" Jareau spoke about the finale but more importantly about how it "would directly impact season 10" in a May 14 interview.

Cook spoke to Zap2it about the shocking twists and turns that will make the episode a "thrill ride watch from beginning to end."

The first part of the finale, Angels, in which Kristen Vangsness who plays Garcia is out in the field fighting it out for her colleagues.

"It's going to be so weird, but so awesome! We're just flipping everything on its head in this episode. Don't mess with Garcia," she said. "If someone is threatening the people she loves she's going to care. It should be very interesting to see all of that play out."

When asked about season 10, Cook said the next one will be more ambitious.

'Whole Team In Jeopardy Like They've Never Been Before' In Finale?   

"I know that Erica Messer, our show runner will have a great plan," she said. "It's Season 10, its going to be a big season. I will say that how Season 9 ends will directly impact Season 10."

"The BAU continues its murder investigation in Texas, and clues uncover a deep web of corruption that could be the motive for the killings. Meanwhile, as one team member's life hangs in the balance, another concerned BAU member must face a sad secret from the past, and Garcia is thrust into action to save a colleague, on the conclusion of the two-part ninth season finale of Criminal Minds."

The second part of the finale, Demons, aired on Wednesday, May 14 on CBS at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
