The 27-year-old announced via Twitter on Wednesday that her upcoming album, Ultraviolence, will drop on June 16.

Del Rey premiered the album's first single, West Coast, at the Coachella music festival in April. The artsy music video also premiered last week and showed the singer riding in a car with an older man while smoking cigarettes.

Ultraviolence will be the follow-up to Del Rey's major label debut, Born To Die, which was released in 2012 and has sold more than 1 million copies in the U.S. alone.

The singer previously admitted that she was struggling with her upcoming album explaining its slight delay.

"When people ask me about it, I just have to be honest, I really don't know. I don't want to say, 'Yeah, definitely, the next one's better than this one,' because I don't really hear a next one," she told Nylon magazine in the November 2013 issue. "My muse is very fickle. She only comes to me sometimes, which is annoying."

Del Rey is also currently on a sold-out tour, but more dates will soon be announced.
