Looks like The Voice is trading in one blonde for another and another. Out with Christina Aguilera, in with Gwen Stefani. Now, out with Shakira. Shakira told reporters she won't be returning to the show anytime soon.

Adam Levine Says Christina Grimmie Gives Him 'Goosebumps'

"This was always a temporary thing for me to do," the Empire singer told reporters. "For now, no, I don't have any plans of coming back," reported The Huffington Post on May 14.

Shakira has a very busy schedule. With the drop of her 10th album, the eponymously named Shakira, an upcoming tour, and her new baby, the Colombian beauty just doesn't have the time to coach newbies anymore.

Kirsten Merlin And Kat Perkins Voted Off Top 5

"Honestly, I've had a blast," Shakira said. "But right now, I have to go on with my life as an artist. I'm not really a TV celebrity and I have to prep a tour and also do other stuff, like being a mother."

Shakira coached Kristen Merlin to the Top 5 - a major feat. And, being a great coach, she fought for Merlin to the end:

"She's different and she represents everyone out there who's different," Shakira pleaded to America. "You're not a typical cowboy girl in cowboy boots and look how far you've come. You're making history, Kristen."

The future may bring Shakira back, however. She noted, "You never know."

The final three, Christina Grimmie, Jake Worthington and Josh Kaufman, perform Monday at 8 p.m. on NBC with the two-hour season finale Tuesday at 9 p.m.
