VH1 reality show "Hollywood Exes" debuted its first episode last week, starring former Hollywood wives Jessica Canseco, Nicole Murphy, Sheree Fletcher, Andrea Kelly and Mayte Garcia.

The show features the divorcees moving on with their lives after their divorce from the Hollywood stars.

Canesco is the wife of former MLB slugger Jose Canesco. "I wanted people to see the real me and who I really am," she said, according to the Daily Beast. "I lived in my husband's shadow for so long and just wanted something to finally be about me."

She also wrote a biography of her life titled, "Juicy: Confessions of a Former Baseball Wife." She went on to marry Garth Fisher, a plastic surgeon who is featured on ABC's TV show "Extreme Makeover", before divorcing him in 2011.

Jessica wed Jose in 1996 before divorcing in 1999.

According to an interview with MTV, Mayte Garcia, former wife of Prince, also said: "The idea that was pitched to me was it being about us. Yes, we were married to them, but we're all individuals. I'm an artist, she's an artist, she has a business. It's about showing who we are, so I decided to do it. Especially after meeting [the show's creators], I knew it was going to be good. I'm old enough now to trust my gut."

"Hollywood Exes" will feature 10 hour-long episodes. It airs on Wednesdays at 8pm on VH1.
