Bravo executives are reportedly livid with Teresa Giudice after she didn't show up at an important promotional event for The Real Housewives of New Jersey while she waits to be sentenced for fraud charges.

While a judge has given her the okay to travel for events, Giudice has been advised to steer clear of the press until she's sentenced so she can avoid any questions she might be asked about her fraud trial. That seems to have included a recent event in New York city that Bravo was banking on her attending.

An insider said, "The network obviously wanted her there and wanted her to talk about her legal problems because they are in the show, but she just isn't willing to do any press right now. Bravo is totally stuck with Teresa."

Giudice pleaded guilty to fraud charges on March 4 and could get up to 27 months in prison. Her sentencing is scheduled on July 8 and apparently Giudice is worried about doing anything in the public eye that could change her ruling.

"Teresa is terrified of making a wrong move between now and her sentencing. She's praying that she gets only house arrest or even probation. So she's staying out of the limelight and avoiding any situation where she will have to talk about the case," the source claimed.

Still, this doesn't help Bravo at all when it comes to doing promotional rounds for the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. While they understand Giudice's setback, they want to capitalize on her legal situation as much as possible.

The same insider added, "Bravo is going to push as much as they can with Teresa. She will eventually have to do press for the show, and hopefully won't be in jail when the reunion show films!"
