As the major networks—NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox—battle it out every year for the top spot in ratings, fans seem to get the best end of the bargain. Now, they are forced to hire the best writers, creators, and talent to bring about ground-breaking, Twitter-exploding television programming.

This healthy (sometimes, cut-throat) competition brings about shows like Scandal and Modern Family, and causes fans to cancel real-life plans to tune in. It all works out for the good, and if we can find more people like Shonda Rhimes, the world would indeed be a better place.

The shows below are too good to miss, so we brought you the details on our favorite upcoming programs, in our latest Enstars Exclusive: Three New Shows You Can't Miss.

1) The Maya Rudolph Show

Lucky for you, you do not have to wait until Fall to get the a glimpse of the great new television programming coming our way, as two of Saturday Night Live's finest join forces to create a new sketch series featuring breakout comedienne, Maya Rudolph. Whether you loved her as Beyoncé or Whitney Houston on SNL or as the lead in Bridesmaids, Rudolph is sure to prove that she can handle the spotlight all on her own.

In her new special, which is based off of the classic variety comedy shows of the 70s and before, she will act in all of her skits. She recently told USA Today, "I needed to do what I liked doing, workwise, and do what feels right and natural to me," as she tapped a a few former cast members to be on the show.

The hilarious daughter of the late and great Minnie Ripperton will be on NBC tonight, (May 19) at 10 PM est. Watch this amazing clip of her Siri impression, which is eerily spot on.

2) How to Get Away With Murder

Shonda Rhimes may have some hospital bills to pay this Fall, as she has officially taken over Thursday nights on ABC. Now, she will have back-to-back-to-back primetime shows, as Grey's Anatomy's, Scandal and now How to Get Away with Murder will all stun audiences and cause major distraction the next day at work.

In her new show, actress Viola Davis plays a savvy law-school professor who will push her (gorgeous) young students to their limits, as they vie for a coveted slot to work for her in the courtroom. The 2:52 trailer only gives us a glimpse of the scandalous, promiscious, under-handed, and exciting situations that are sure to keep us on the edge our seats every Thursday night.

Now, #Gladiators, you will have to muster up energy for an additional hour.

3) Black-ish

This next show is one of the truest representations of a sub-culture on mainstream television, and fans from all over the world are excited.

With a very Modern-Family-inspired plot line, the producers of ABC decided to bring a much-needed drop of diversity into its’ primetime line up.

In Black-Ish, Andre Johnson and his family move to the suburbs in lieu of his outstanding success. Though his life seems picture perfect, the shows’ premise surrounds how Dre will keep African American culture in his family, in their new surroundings.

Plus, Tracee Ellis Ross is making her return to television, playing opposite of the hilarious Anderson, and their four kids. It really can’t get any better.

Black-ish also comes to ABC this fall, so for now, watch the trailer.
