Pop star Katy Perry has been rumored to be in a relationship with DJ Diplo, but the two reportedly have called it quits.

Katy Perry Was Hiding Her Relationship?

On Tuesday, In Touch Weekly posted a story on the alleged former couple, saying that it was Diplo who decided to end the relationship.

"Diplo broke up with her because she does not want to be in a serious relationship. She's doing OK and not too sad about it. They wanted different things," a source told the magazine. "She freaked out when he wanted to introduce her to his parents. She doesn't want to get married again -- at least not anytime soon."

Katy Perry Angry With Rihanna?

The two are apparently in different phases with their love lives with Diplo wanting more of a commitment while Perry seems to want to just have fun.

"She wants to date and he wanted something much more serious," the source said. "It was too much, too soon."

Another alleged reason for the split was due to the two of them spending so much time on their careers. Perry recently told Yorkshire Post that she's been having a great time focusing on her music.

"It's been quite a colorful few years with a lot of hard work, a lot of excitement, a lot of purpose and a lot of fun," the pop star said. "If it wasn't fun I don't think I would be running this fast still."

Perry also revealed that some of her songs are from personal experiences while some are meant for just having a good time.
