Ciara is over the moon with motherhood as she reportedly cried "tears of joy" after leaving the hospital with her fiancé, Atlanta rapper Future and their newborn baby, also named Future.

The chart topper took to her social media account to express her new excitement of becoming a mother and taking her bundle of joy home for the very first time.

She sent a message to her fans, tweeting: "As I Leave The Hospital, I Cry Happy TearsJ... I'm Now Responsible 4 Being The Best Mom I Can Be... So Many New Challenges Experiences, & Moments 2 Create Ahead... #ImReady. #Thankful #ThankYouGod #ThankYou."

Proud new father Future Sr. also took to Twitter to express his excitement over his new baby, writing "S/O my wife giving birth to my handsome baby boy... #iWon again Thank God."

Ciara gave birth to her baby boy on May 19, and caused quite a stir with her son's rather untraditional name, with many fans confused over her "Baby Future" tweet. She has since then clarified that his full name is Future Zahir Wilburn.

Meanwhile, it looks like Ciara won't be attending her pal Kim Kardashian's star-studded wedding in France and Italy this weekend as she'll be at home with her family and newborn son instead. Kim attended Ciara's baby shower in Los Angeles earlier this year and has reportedly been giving the singer pregnancy and motherhood tips.
