Usher is currently on a personal high following Josh Kaufman's triumphant win on The Voice and wants to share his excitement with future judges Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams.

The chart topper broke Blake Shelton and Adam Levine's five-season winning steak by giving the reality competition show a new champ this past Tuesday and wants new judges Stefani and Williams to continue his new winning streak.

"(They can) be motivated by the fact that I was able to win The Voice," Usher recently told the The Today Show. "I think that they are both incredible artists, and as long as they are as true in their process of working with talent as they are with their creative, then it should work. They're geniuses."

Usher also added that the new coaches should rely on their own intuition and unconventional styles rather than follow the show's true and tested format of finding the next best voice of the season.

"For the most part they should just be true to who they are, that's what I did. It was a bit unorthodox... but that was all a process of artist development," he added.

Williams announced he was to join the judging panel for the hit NBC show earlier this year while Stefani confirmed her seat in April. Williams is replacing Usher while the Hollaback Girl singer is sitting in for a pregnant Christina Aguilera for Season 7 of the show.

Show veterans Levine and Sheldon will also be returning for the upcoming season.
