BET Awards 2012 Encore to Air Tuesday [PHOTOS]

The BET Awards 2012 were filled with star power from Jay-Z, Beyonce and Kanye West, but it was Cissy Houston's performance dedicated to her late daughter Whitney, one of the most talked about moments of the night.

The Awards show's encore will air Tuesday at 8 p.m. EST.

Cissy delivered an emotional performance of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" Sunday night at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, while images of Cissy and her daughter flashed in the background.

“When you’re weary, feeling small/ When tears are in your eyes, I will dry them all. I’m on your side. Oh when times get rough and friends just can’t be found," Houston sang.

The performance brought Beyonce, Kanye West and Soulja Boy to tears.

Mariah Carey, Monica and Brandy also paid tribute to Houston.

Whitney's brother Gary Houston and the cast of the movie "Waiting to Exhale," in which Houston starred, also honored the late singer.

Other highlights of the awards' night hosted by Samuel L. Jackson, included early glimpses of Kim Kardashian and Beyonce as new friends and Jay-Z interrupting Kanye West's speech to recall when West interrupted Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards.

West and Jay-Z won Best Video of the Year and when West was giving his acceptance speech Jay-Z interrupted:

"Excuse me Kanye, I'm gonna let you continue, but..." and the audience erupted with laughter.

Jackson and Spike Lee also parodied Jay-Z and West "N----s in Paris!" to loud laughs in the audience.

The BET AWARDS 12 will premiere Tuesday, July 3 in the U.K. and Africa at 8:00 p.m. BST.
