Selena Gomez is set to become mentored by one of the biggest stars in Hollywood. According to reports, former Friends actress Jennifer Aniston wants to take the young former Disney star under her wings and become her acting mentor.

According to sources, both Aniston and Gomez have been spending a lot of time together, as they were last spotted having dinner at L.A.'s Madeo restaurant earlier this month. The two were supposedly talking about Selena's tumultuous relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber, and her career goals.

"Jennifer is really interested in making Selena's transition very easy with her new movie career goals, now that they are working with the same people," Hollywood Life reports. "They aren't working on anything together as of yet or any time soon but Jen likes the idea of making herself a mentor for Selena."

In addition, it also looks like Aniston wants to "mold" Gomez to become an A list star in Hollywood and help take her career to the next level as her mentor or manager.

"Jen sees money in Selena and sees her as the potential "next" Jen Aniston," according to a source.

Meanwhile, Bieber has released a snippet of a new song called It's Working on Instagram which many speculate is about Gomez, his on-again, off-again girlfriend. In the song, Bieber sings about how the love of his life knows "exactly what to do to hurt me."
