President Obama's Fourth of July celebration will be extra special this year- his oldest, the First Daughter Malia turns 14 on Wednesday.

According to politico.com, the Obamas will host the traditional Independence Day barbecue for military personnel and their families at the White House on July 4th. It has not been confirmed if Malia will be feted at the White House celebration. The Obama family has been holed up at Camp David since Saturday.

Every year since the First Family moved into the White House in January, 2009, the Obamas have celebrated Malia's birthday at Camp David where all of the Presidents' families have spent their summers together.

In July 2009, Malia Obama had about 20 girls visit her at her first summer at Camp David for her 11th birthday, according the blog aboutcampdavid.com. The Obamas returned to Camp David for Malia's birthdays in 2010 and 2011. Malia's sister Sasha has celebrated her 10th birthday there in June 2011.

Malia Obama and sister Sasha are now appearing in ads for their father Barack Obama's re-election campaign, reported TheState.com.

"They're the most popular unit of the family," Tom Jensen, director of the Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling, told TheState.com. "Who doesn't like the girls?"

President Obama explained in a TV interview that his decision to publicly support gay marriage was made, in part, thanks to the girls. That interview is now the basis of the new ads. In the Father's Day piece, Sasha and Malia appear in photographs and on video that appears to have been filmed on the campaign trail, clowning around with their dad. In the television ad, they appear in photographs.

One photograph of the sisters with their father appears after a picture of Obama and his mother flashes on the screen. A female narrator says, "The son of a single mom. Proud father of two daughters. President Obama knows that women being paid 77 cents on the dollar for doing the same work as men isn't just unfair, it hurts families." The girls also appear at the close of the ads, holding hands with both their parents.

Malia Obama made headlines in May when she attended a music concert headlined by singer Beyonce in Atlantic City. Malia attended with her mother, First Lady Michelle and sister Sasha at the opening of the Revel Resorts.

Beyonce's Memorial Day Weekend concerts were her first since giving birth to baby Blue Ivy in January.
