As filming for Terminator: Genesis is currenlty underway in New Orleans, footage and pictures from the set have been surfacing, and the latest ones were taken by a hotel with a cop car in the frame.

Two fans posted the pictures on Twitter and one claimed Arnold Schwarzenegger was also in the frame, although he cannot be clearly spotted. If that is the case perhaps it's a scene where Schwarzenegger's iconic cyborg is taking the cops down.

"They are currently filming Terminator 5 outside of my mom's hotel and she saw Arnold. Wowie wow wow," one fan tweeted.

Terminator: Genesis to Conflate Plots of The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day?

In a new press release made by Skydance Productions, the film is being tagged as a stand-alone. The producers behind the film revealed that the trilogy would be a new start of sorts while paying homage to the iconic franchise. But this also seems to corroborate various allusions to the fact that the film will essentially work off of the James Cameron films, The Terminator and Terminator: Judgment Day. 

The new film is being directed by Alan Taylor and Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to reprise his role as the iconic mean machine. Jai Courtney will be playing Kyle Reese, Jason Clarke will be portraying the part of John Connor, and Emilia Clarke will play Sarah Connor. Sandrine Holt (House of Cards) will be playing Detective Cheung, who will arrest Kyle and Sarah when they arrive in 2017. 

Terminator 5 is scheduled to release in July 2015.
