Country star Miranda Lambert bought her friend Carrie Underwood a rather generous gift over Memorial Day weekend. Of course Underwood went straight to bragging, thanking Lambert for the gift. After all, it's not every day your friend goes and buys you a motorcycle.

The gift was delivered on Saturday. Underwood, a musician in her own right, took no time in posting a photo on Twitter.

Motorcycles are a common association with the suggested American west, but does Lambert's husband Blake Shelton disapprove?

Shelton, also a country singer and coach on NBC's The Voice, is reported by CMT as being against the vehicle. In an interview, fellow Voice coach Adam Levine (Maroon 5) commented that Shelton does not like motorcycles. "Can you believe this guy?" said Levine in the 2012 interview, "You [Shelton] shoot stuff, you live on a huge country-paradise ranch-you are country-hand you don't ride motorcycles."

If Shelton doesn't like his wife's gift, he sure isn't saying anything about it. He might not even be offended as it was not something Lambert had purchased for herself. "We just kind of want to just be together," he told audiences casually in an interview for The Voice (the clip is featured below).

Even if she had, Lambert and Shelton are rather public about being equals in their marriage, and Lambert is most certainly entitled to do what she wants. The couple, who have faced cheating and separation rumors over the years, remain strong and dedicated to one another.

If they can survive that, then a motorcycle won't stop them.
