Brad Pitt is the latest celebrity to have a strange interaction with Ukrainian journalist Vitalii Sediuk.

While the 50-year-old attended the premiere of Angelina Jolie's new movie Maleficent in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, Sediuk reportedly hit the actor in the face. Pitt, who was signing autographs at the time, wasn't injured after the attack.

Security immediately ran on the carpet at the El Capitan Theatre to take down the prankster, 25, and arrested him. Video footage also shows the cops escorting Sediuk out of the premiere as he walked with his hands behind his back. He was later charged with a misdemeanor battery charge, according to reports.

Sediuk has pulled similar stunts on several other stars over the last few years. He recently crawled under actress America Ferrera's gown at the How To Train Your Dragon 2 premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. In January, he awkwardly gripped onto Bradley Cooper's legs at the 20th annual Screen Actors Build Awards.

He also famously crashed the Grammy Awards in February 2013 and ran on stage when Adele won the award for Best Solo Pop Performance.

"It's such an honor to receive this award," Seduik said on the microphone. "I love you, Adele."

Jennifer Lopez, who presented the award, appeared to be telling the journalist to get off the stage.

Sediuk got a dose of his own medicine in May 2012 when he attempted to kiss Will Smith at the Men in Black 3 premiere in Moscow. Smith responded by shoving Sediuk and slapping him in his face. "What the hell is your problem," Smith also said.
