For the last few years now there has been a great deal of talk about Tim McGraw and Faith Hill splitting up. The country singing couple, who have been married since 1996 and have three daughters, have always denied the claims. Nonetheless, that has not stopped people from talking.

When divorce rumors began to spread again in 2013, Hill seemed nothing if not confused. "It's perplexing...I don't know why 'happy' can't be a story," the singer told People last November, adding that they are "busy" with their three daughters.

In Taste of Country in February, McGraw echoed Hill's claims of happiness, stating that their daughters are fortunate to have a mother like Hill. "I think they're learning the best lessons they can learn," said McGraw, "just having her as someone to look up to and someone to learn from."

In an MSN interview (featured below) earlier this month, McGraw discussed singing with Hill in Los Vegas for ten weekends, which hardly seems like something a dueling couple would be interested in doing.

McGraw mentions Hill fondly, though sparingly, in the interview, instead focusing on his daughters and upcoming album, Sundown Heaven Town, which comes out September 16, 2014. The debut of his new song City Lights aired NBC's The Voice last week.

Rumors seem to be dying down for the time being, though they never fully go away. They rise and fall in waves. For now, however, it would seem for the McGraw-Hill clan that no news is in fact the best kind.
