The sudden loss of Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman added a major snafu to the massive production of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay. Rumor has it that like Paul Walker in the Fast & Furious sequel, CGI and body doubles will digitally recreate the expired Oscar winner.

Using movie magic and a touch of CGI, Hoffman will not be replaced in the final dystopian flick, Mockingjay Part 2, but inserted via classic movie trickery.

"The filmmakers behind the Hunger Games movies will digitally recreate late actor Philip Seymour Hoffman in an integral scene for the sequel. Editors close to the production will use computer graphics and camera tricks, instead of rewriting the script, to film at least one heartfelt scene featuring Hoffman's character.

With the production taking place in Atlanta, producers are working their best to work figure out how to shoot the one major scene that Hoffman was slated before his untimely death. It appears that their are some minor to major rewrites to maintain the illusion of the late actor. It seems that time will tell. Still, considering the fanbase for the series, they may not miss Hoffman much, especially since it is fair to imagine that they have not seen the late thespian's greatest work.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay features Katniss being forced to star in commercials for the rebels and for one of them, she is reunited with old friend Gale. Unfortunately the reunion is short lived as they witness a hospital getting destroyed. Katniss is irate and ready to make a stand in the name of justice. While under duress and knowing that Katniss is watching, Peeta sends out a coded message to the rebel movement. However it backfires with footage of Peeta being tortured horrifying Katniss. With this new information in hand, While District 13 takes refuge underground, Katniss makes another plea forcing her to take on a brainwashed Peeta. Far from a tearful greeting, the pair square off in battle.
