As Sons of Anarchy enters its seventh and final season, it will be enlisting one of the biggest shock rockers in the music business: Marilyn Manson.

FX officially announced Thursday at Manson has been cast to appear on Sons of Anarchy in Season 7, confirming the rumors previously reported by Enstars. Manson will be playing Ron Tully, a "white supremacist prison shot-caller who Jax [Charlie Hunnam] uses to expand his power base."

Manson spoke about his excitement over being cast in the role in a FX press release:

"Sons has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father's," Manson explained. "So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of SOA is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle."

It had previously been reported that Manson would be lending some of his music to Sons of Anarchy for Season 7.

As the motorcycle drama enters its final season, there are actually few main characters who have been a part of the show since the beginning and stayed alive. Season 6 featured the crushing deaths of both Clay (Ron Perlman) and Tara (Maggie Siff), Only Jax, Gemma (Katey Sagal) and a handful of other main characters have lasted up to Season 7.

Sons of Anarchy Season 7 premieres in fall 2014 on FX, though the network has not yet announced a specific premiere date.
